A FOUR PART SERIES INTO THE FUNDAMENTALS OF FIBER
A guided investigation into fiber arts materials and techniques through an arts lens. Each session will introduce either a material or a technique used in fiber arts including historical and contemporary examples, tactile experimentation, and resources for further study.
This is all the fun of a college lab section, without the term paper! Participants will work with their hands and our tools to generate possibilities for how to incorporate materials and techniques from fiber arts into their own art practice.
