Functional Movement with the Feldenkrais Method in Cambridge

Experience a weekly dose of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons to deepen your self-connection, get to know your body better, lubricate your joints, and lighten up your life!

This series of lessons will focus on becoming aware of how dynamic support from the entire skeleton can free the movement of our shoulders, arms, and hands.

Feldenkrais is a learning system that helps improve human functioning through movement and awareness. ATM lessons gently guide you through mindful “movement puzzles” that encourage you to sense, think, and move in novel ways.

In these classes, you will learn how to:

-find freedom in your shoulders, arms, and hands

-move with more grace, ease, and comfort

-regulate your nervous system

-reduce your discomfort, pain, and anxiety

-increase your mobility and stabiity

Who are these classes for:

-No previous experience with the Feldenkrais Method is needed to participate.

-Anyone looking for alternative avenues to reduce stress, pain, and anxiety

-Anyone who is curious about their bodily experience

-Anyone engaged in performance or creative process (musicians, athletes, dancers, actors, writers, artists). This is not a requirement!

Fee: Drop-in $20/regular rate and $12/working artist, student, low income rate. Payment via Venmo (@eveboltax) is preferred.
