Parents… let’s be real for a second 👀 Are you fumbling your way through “the girl talk” with your pre-teen or teen? Not sure when to start… what to say… or how much is too much? Already had "the talk" but feel like it ended awkwardly ?💭 Past the start of puberty but feel like an info refresher is in order...?💗

🌸 Autism Society Acadiana is THRILLED to partner with the AMAZING ✨CONFIDENCE CAMPAIGN of ACADIANA ✨ for a FREE, hands-on, confidence-boosting workshop for girls ages 8 and up!
💗 This wonderful workshop is designed to help young ladies feel confident, informed, and prepared as their bodies begin to change. Using fact-based teaching in a warm, supportive environment, girls will walk away feeling empowered—not embarrassed. 💪🌷
🌼 What girls will learn about:
🩷 Feminine products (what they are, the differences & usage instructions)
🩷 Effective whole body washing education & personal hygiene
🩷 Proper deodorant use
🩷 Dental care basics (Dental product practice and effective usage)
🩷 Face cleaning & makeup removal
🩷 Asking questions in a safe, judgment-free space
🌈 This class is open to all persons assigned female at birth ✨ A safe space for learning, growing, and gaining confidence
🚫 Please note: This is NOT a reproductive education class, this is a fact based, puberty focused hygiene and self esteem building information experience. Parents/Caretakers are asked to remain on site during the duration of this workshop.
