Fun with Clay Night

In this 2 hour session, you'll be guided through the process of throwing on the potters wheel. Learn how to center the clay, raise the walls and shape the clay into a cylinder or bowl.

• Class size limited to 2 students
• All tools, clay, glazes and firings are included
• No prior experience necessary
• After you've finished your pieces, you will be able to select the glaze color for your piece(s) to be finished in
• BW Pots will trim, fire, glaze and fire again your pieces
• Pieces will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks.

All students must wear a mask at this time. We hope to be back to normal as soon as possible.

• Class sizes are limited to 2 people. That means you will get extensive guidance and feedback throughout each session, to help you master the art of wheel throwing.
• Learn from a professional ceramicist. You will have the opportunity to learn some of the tricks of the trade from a professional ceramicist.
• Work in a professional ceramicist's studio. You will be surrounded by inspirational pieces, see work in various stages of completion and get to work with the same tools that a working potter uses daily.
• It will be fun. More than anything, this will be a fun way to de-stress, explore your creativity, and just enjoy yourself, solo or with a friend, for a few hours!

BW Pots (aka Brian) is an artist that has a passion for working across various mediums such as clay, charcoal, graphite, and digital. His ceramics and charcoal portraits have been exhibited locally and internationally. When he's not creating tiny teapots and functional ceramics for BW Pots or teaching drawing classes, you can find him surfing the waves at the nearest beach.

Brian earned his BFA in Ceramics at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania and his MFA in Visual Development from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
