Fun and Funky Stash Busting Scarf

This an intermediate sewing class and you must be familiar with your machine.

Come use up some of your lovely scraps of batiks, yarns, and threads like DMC Perle cotton and embroidery flosses. There will also be additional elements on hand for you to use if you like. Batiks are available for sale onsite through Sew Snips Fabrics (Creative Closeouts)

You will need to bring:

- 1/4" rotary cut batiks (you can use any fabric but the backs of printed fabrics will show on your finished product where batiks are nearly the same on both sides)

- various threads and yarns

-sewing thread to complement your colors. This will be the color that holds all your elements together.

- scissors

-long quilter's pins with ball heads (you can use regular pins but they will be harder to see)

- your sewing machine

The colors are entirely up to you. Pick what you like from subtle combinations to completely mad mixtures. Whatever makes you happy!

We will provide the dissolvable interfacing you will be using. When you take your scarf home after dissolving the interfacing it will be wet so we'll send it home in a bag.
