Power Animals or Totem Animals have been associated with humans for ages. Animals were recognised by shamans, druids and seers as family, the extended family, our reliable friends.
They came as guides to mirror our deepest self with the ability to give insight in our qualities, our talents, knowledge, wisdom and inner power.
This is the kind of power that comes from the idea of unity, as each one of us has parts of all other Beings. It is the law of Oneness.
Georgien says "it is my deepest experience through my shamanic practice that working with a totem animal intensifies your healing abilities, enhances self confidence and provides better understanding of the world around us.
Working with power animals can open the way to find your personal path. An animal guide can become your teacher, with whom you allow to grow and learn in a wider aspect, it will radiate on to the benefit the Earth and all living creatures."
About Georgien Wybenga
Georgien has been on this path for over 40 years and has accumulated many wonderful experiences, gathered much wisdom along the way that she brings her own unique flavor to her work. A shamanic practitioner and teacher and wonderful artist. She has had the honour of walking the path with many indigenous teachers and elders. As she is now a respected elder herself she is passing on the baton and sharing her wisdom and stories.
Learning through stories, the old way is a beautiful thing to witness. Georgien is such a character, humourous and light hearted, deep and delightful. It is a privilege forward and back if you choose to join us. She is over from her native land of the Netherlands for the joy of passing on what she knows in a lifelong passion to make a difference in the world and insatiable curiosity to truly know the medicine way. To live in peace and walk gently on the earth. Come and be in her presence. She is a gift.

- You are already a facilitator and would like to enhance your skill set.
PROGRAM ::
* You will find your power animals and work with them through several techniques of shamanism and druidism.
* The journeys will be guided with shamanic journeys, guided meditations and other techniques.
* You will be deepening and exploring your personal intuition and learn how to find, respect and use the power of animal totems.
* The program will contain working on both personal level and working in pairs.
* We will be putting our experience to work for our inner insight and healing.
* You will be making your own power tool to work with our power animals. This is a really beautiful aspect to the workshop bringing the power into physical creation.
If you are a therapist it is very useful to know the art of working with animal power, it will deepen your healing capabilities and bring you to more advance development. You will be able to recognise animal archetypes and use them therapeutically with your clients.
No previous experience necessary just a willingness and an open heart to learn. Trust the process.
What you learn through this process will enable you to use in your personal and professional life. A certificate of completion will be presented at the end of the weekend.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring lunch, we have a cafe downstairs where can eat together. You can bring food with you and leave in the fridge, warm up etc. Or there is a coop and other cafes outside the door.
Teas/ Water/ biscuits/snacks provided throughout.
Mats are provided. You may want to bring a blanket and pillow to be cosy.
Pen and journal.
In the run up to the event look out in nature for special pieces you may want to use for your power totem piece. This is a really important part of the day. i.e. pieces of wood, feathers, stones, leaves, special fabric, crystals. if making a rattle what would you like it to sound like, what you would you put inside. Creative pieces that you like. You may not use them all but what would make it uniquely you, your own medicine?
We will provide all the necessary to make it happen and there will be some rattle equipment to use (at a small cost) or you may just choose to bring in wood, talking stick, wand etc. It's your journey but come prepared.
