FULLY BOOKED EVENTIf you are interested in the history of this amazing park, come on a guided walk led by Laurie Elvin, archaeologist and local historian.
The walk will cover route & content as Aug and lasts 1.5 - 2 hours. We will cross the canal and walk up to Jacotts Hill, the highest point in the park. You will hear about prehistory and the history from monastic times to the 20th century (there’s even a mention of ‘Star Wars’)
Starts from outside the Hub on the upper paved patio (above the splash pools). Booking is essential on Eventbrite, and no refunds for this event
