Come howl at the Full Wolf Moon during this special snowshoe-after-dark event at the Arboretum. It’s thought that January’s full moon came to be known as the Wolf Moon because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time of the year. Visitors can also listen to the Wildlife Science Center give a presentation on wolves in the MacMillan Auditorium from 5:15-6 p.m., with a short Q&A after.
Please note that routes for Full Moon Hikes aren’t always on paved paths or wheelchair accessible. However, we are more than willing to talk through options and make accommodations if possible.
