FULL Sewing Arts @ The Park

This class is held weekly on Fridays from 10:30am-12:30pm all semester long. For girls and boys of all ages 6 and up! The Class List with names/genders/ages of students registered up for these classes are found at the bottom.

Do you know how to sew? Do you want to learn but it looks very intimidating? I'm a retired Costume Designer that believes that sewing shouldn't be a lost art. We take each project step by step and yes sometimes we have to use a seam ripper. If you would like to learn how and you have a sewing machine join us in the fun!

If you attend the Theatre Arts Class you will be working towards learning how to sew and then sewing together your costume for the performance. And yes you'll be able to keep it. If not we will sew all sorts of things starting with a pillow and we will decide what future project you want to do at our first class!

*Supplies Needed:

• Sewing Machine (Any full-sized machine will work. The little toy machines do not work. The cheap Brother at Walmart I've had going on 4 years now. The one before then I had for over 10 years.)
• Sewing Kit (The best one I've found if you need one is the $10 one at Walmart actually. It has a full sized shears and a mini snipper.)

Cost: $45 per student for these 3 classes.

Payment Due: November 1st 2024 @ 3:00pm

*Invoices will be sent out round the 15th of each month that will be due on the first of each month. It's assumed that you'd like to continue each month unless you let us know that you no longer will. No judgements just let us know ASAP as there may be a waiting list for the class.

We'll be outside under a huge pavilion so prepare yourself for the day's weather. Bring enough water bug spray personal fans cool clothing etc. We meet in the rain as the pavilion is huge and we stay dry. Please check our FB Page to see if any updates have been made about the classes each day. ALL announcement will be via FB as I can't access the website via phone. If you're planning on dropping off your child please contact Kei Denevan our Head Organizer first to get approval.
