As part of Truth and Reconciliation Week 2025, join us on October 1st, Wednesday, starting at 6:30PM for Full Moon Teachings with Grandmother Debbie Huntinghawk.
During the day, from 10AM to 3PM, the TRW2025 site at the Riverbank is open to the public while Brandon School Division student outdoor cultural programming is going on.
The full moon ceremony is to be held monthly, and Debbie Huntinghawk has been leading these ceremonies at the Riverbank for the community for some time. This is an opportunity for women to gather and release burdens from the previous month through ceremony and gathering with other women and medicines.
Come together for Anishinaabe teachings, songs and ceremony at the All Nations Sharing Circle on the east side of the Riverbank Discovery grounds. Whoever wishes to attend is welcome. Dress for cooler weather.
