Full Moon Sound bath for June's Strawberry Moon

Every month is a chance for us to use the lunar energy of the moon to set intentions, clear out negativity and re-charge. Together, we will harness the lunary energy with a sound bath, pull tarot cards and check in with the direction for the month ahead. We have all of the props needed including mats and blankets but you are welcome to bring your own. We will have refreshments and tea to enjoy so bring a journal, pen and a mug and join us!

Our workshop starts with a sound bath composed of crystal bowls. You'll have some time to journal and have a brief discussion about the monthly connection to the full moon. Then we'll enjoy tea and join in on the fun for each participant to pull tarot cards.

New to a sound bath? Use these helpful tips:

1. Dress for comfort
2. Be on time- at least 5-10mins. prior to the start time.
3. Turn off your phone upon arrival
4. Prepare your space- a yoga mat and 2-3 blankets will be provided but if you know you might be sensitive to light or want something specific to help you get comfortable, feel free to bring.
5. Clear your mind- this is a form of meditation. Plan to relax, follow the sound and stay awake.
6. Be open to feelings that arise- Sound baths encourage you to drop into a meditative state that can bring up stuck emotions and sensations in the body.
7. Take care of your body before and after the session. Use the restroom prior and after the experience, hydrate and get a good night's rest.

New to pulling tarot cards? Here's what to expect:

1. Center and ground yourself
2. Be present to your energy
3. Think of a question you want answered for the day or ask an open-ended question that can answer "yes" or "no".
4. Cleanse the deck with sage or palo santo that is provided for you.
5. Shuffle the cards any way you want
6. Be open to the feeling of knowing when is the right time to draw a card.
7. Plan to draw 1-3 cards
8. Trust in the relationship that the cards pulled will offer an interpretation for you to gain insight. We'll help you understand the cards and connect the pathway.
9. No questions will be asked but you are always welcome to illicit ideas, share your thoughts and interact with participants to help you uncover the message.
10. Remember you are in control of your own destiny, the cards are simply there to give you insight about what is intended to be revealed to you.
