A long standing Pensacola Beach tradition since 2019, bring the family, a beach towel, and imbibe in the sacred sounds of nature's accompaniment with Swan Michelle.

This is a beautiful family event and no experience is necessary.

A beach Sound Bath is like no other as you listen and take deep rest with the ocean waves, the white crystal sand, the fresh ocean breeze the sunset and the stars. Swan Michelle has been offering Sound Baths to the Gulf Coast community since 2011, as certified in Sound Therapy and trained in sound experiences in India.

What is a Sound Bath?

“In this unique sound experience, this practice of listening in conscious stillness quietly holds space for us to be in concert with pure tones and resonant frequencies.

Inspired by Certified Sound Therapy practices, eyes closed, either seated or lying down in an meditative state, this science recognized and consciousness raising therapy turns the volume down on noise found in outer stimulus, your body, nervous system, emotions and mind.

The etymology of the word “mystic” is “myein”, meaning, “to listen”. This mystical art will begin with the brief and subtle guidance of a lead listening meditation, honoring the body, and the mind as your primary instruments.

You will then tune into the pure hertz measured gongs, crystal or metal bowls, elemental chimes, the cadence of binaural rhythms, symphonic cords, uplifting language, voice & other instruments that will spaciously guide, break up & through the dense energy or pain of the past held within.

To raise our vibrational frequency is an art available to anyone. It is Universal. There is no experience nor knowledge of yoga or meditation necessary at all. Enjoy the space where listening resides, in a sound body and sound mind” Swan Michelle

Location:

This location is 5.65 miles east from the Pier, 2 miles East of Portofino, 1 mile east of Dog Park EAST (there are 2 dog parks) and 100 yards past Parking Lot East's furthest port-a-potty on Jay Earle Baden Way.

It is across the street from the Stop 21 Pensacola Beach Eco trail, which is on the sound side. We are on the Gulf side. We are the furthest east you can go in the parking lot, parked on the side of the road, not in the actual lot itself.

There will be a large red feather flag that says Swan Michelle Wellness.

Look for a black Rav4 with surf racks and a large Inner Light Surf Shop sticker and a large blue Sound Bath flame flying in the sand.

It is 3 miles West of Opal Beach. If you start to see no more buildings or lots, you have gone too far.

You will receive this location reminder in a group email for those registered 2 hours before the event.

What to bring:

Blankets, sleeping bags, towels, meditation cushion, pillows, bolsters. There is no yoga asana that takes place. No props are brought to this public event.

Wear comfortable clothing, or a bathing suite.

Experience Level:

This is an artful, open even for the family. Children may come and swim while you lie down, or lie down with you. We just ask for a quiet environment once we begin, as this is an experience in sound and in listening for deep healing. No experience is necessary.

Weather and Refund Policies:

5 participants must be registered for a Sound Bath to take place. Register now if you plan to attend. If 5 people are not registered, this event is subject to being postponed.

All special events are transferable and non-refundable.

If circumstances out of our control, such as weather, do not permit for outdoor events, we will notify you within 1 hour of the event, and the same event will most likely be postponed. In the event of cancellation, a credit will be added for the same event at a later date.
