About the Event
A recurring social built around learning and playing American Mahjong, timed to the full moon and opened with a short collective moment to set an intention for the night. Welcoming everyone from total beginners to rusty former players, with tables organized by experience level so people can play at the right pace.
The format encourages moving between tables throughout the night, making it as much about meeting new people as learning the game.
PHONE FREE: A Little Time Offline
For a couple of hours, we’re putting the screens away.
We’ll provide a safe place to leave your phone when you arrive, so you can settle in, play, talk, and be fully at the table.
Phones will still be there when the night is over. Hopefully with a few new numbers to add to it.
