ILO, sonic alchemist weaving Eastern and Western soundscapes since 2005, channels decades of trance, yoga, and breathwork into heart&body awakening dance journeys. His sets are more than music — they are a prayer in motion, infused with wisdom traditions that invite deep embodiment, inner expansion, and ecstatic release. Ilo crafts transformative dance journeys at festivals, Burning Man events, retreats, and yoga schools in Finland, Estonia, Denmark, the Netherlands, and India. He also guides holotropic breathwork, yoga, and cold exposure practices, and produces ceremonies and healing spaces – including Finland’s first festival healing area at Existence ’11.
MARIANNE VALONLEHTO is a shamanic practitioner and visual artist. She has explored various shamanic traditions, energy work, and healing sound while deepening her connection to spirituality, rituals, and nature. She has worked with Mother Cacao for over eight years. Marianne has practiced yoga and various meditation techniques for over 20 years, and these experiences form the foundation of her spiritual work. She is currently studying the Peruvian Q’ero shamanic tradition. Her ceremonial work is rooted in honoring the beauty of life and a deep love for Mother Earth.

The dance takes over, often leading to unlocking a state of consciousness that is transformative and liberating.

Shamanism is one of the oldest forms of spiritual practice – a pathway to deeper connection with oneself, others, and nature. It is a living tradition where ritual, music, and movement come together, strengthening the collective spirit in shared space.
Over the decades of facilitating and DJ’ing Ecstatic Dance journeys around the world, Ilo noticed how deeply people resonate with more tribal and indigenous sounds. Again and again, dancers have asked:
“Could the entire set be inspired by this theme?”
This event is the answer.
We draw inspiration from the wisdom and traditions of indigenous peoples, including the Q’ero and Guaraní tribes, as well as Finnish shamanism. The ceremony weaves together natural elements, acoustic instruments, and medicine music – sounds and rhythms that open the heart and invite an inner journey.
