Full Moon Ceremony at Rock Point

About this Event
Humans have a long history of tracking the moon and connecting its cycles with natural events throughout the year. In many Native American cultures, the thirteen sections on a turtle's back represent the thirteen moons of the year, each with a variety of names that describe natural occurrances of that time of year.
Join Maris Harmon and Tyler Pastorok at Rock Point for this free monthly ceremony to welcome each full moon in 2025. We will gather and start by sharing poetry and natural history related to the current moon cycle. We will do some journaling, Maris will lead us in a guided visualization, and then we'll go outside for some quiet solo time to connect with the moon and other beings at Rock Point. We will reconvene inside to connect with each other and share some reflections, and then close with a song.
Our first session will take place on Monday, 1/13 from 5:30-7pm. Sessions will begin indoors and move outside. Please dress to be comfortable outside for at least 30 minutes.
