😍Maryam and LadyFem invite you to join us for this special FULL MOON Cacao and Somatic Dance gathering🔥
This dance falls on the next Full Moon in Pisces, which also happens to be a partial lunar eclipse!
We'll begin with a beautiful Cacao ceremony, drop in a few words of wisdom about what's unfolding in the great expanse of the sky above, and move into a Somatic Dance expertly guided by Maryam.
LadyFem has returned from her travels and will be curating an expansive soundscape as we gather at this potent time 😍
🌟 Because we will be making Cacao, we would appreciate advance ticket purchases so we know how much delicious brew to make! 🌟
Somatic Dance is a guided free form movement journey, delving deep into the layers of the body and held in a non-judgemental space where all of you is welcome. No prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome 🤗
There are no routines or steps to follow here, simply an invitation to discover how your body wishes to move. The guided facilitation is supported by a carefully curated soundscape overseen by a DJ 🎶
This dance is an invitation for you to come and move your body to the unique rhythm of you, supporting a deeper connection with yourself and others 💃🕺
This is a space free from alcohol, shoes and talking. Let the epic music and guidance of your facilitator carry you out of your mind and into your body, allowing yourself to experience the transformative power of Somatic Dance! The music takes the form of a wave, beginning gently before building to a peak, then settling back down to land softly and slowly.
We recommend wearing clothes you are comfortable moving in (layers are great), bring along a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity!
Our dance spaces are designed for adults to create a space where you are able to freely explore and express your authentic self, in whichever shape and form it happens to be expressing itself. As part of this, we request that alternate arrangements are made to care for any children while you attend. If you have a child you would like to bring along, please reach out to us and we can have a chat about whether it is a possibility 🥰

🎟️ $30-$35 per person; cash on the door or preferably, purchase your ticket in advance so we know how much Cacao to make!

🎤 Maryam; Somatic Dance Facilitator 🎤
Born in Canada with Syrian and Iraqi heritage, Maryam is a wellness workshop facilitator and a Somatic Dance Teacher, with international training across several holistic modalities, including reiki & sensory touch therapy, yoga, cacao circle facilitation, and sound therapy. Through her comprehensive understanding of somatic practices, she harnesses the transformative power of movement, breath, and sound to guide individuals toward inner strength and embodiment. Maryam’s expertise in creating a safe and nourishing space allows participants to embark on a profound journey of self-connection and healing.

LadyFem has been journeying within the embodiment landscape for many years and resonates most deeply with practices steeped in tradition. She is a 300hour certified Somatic Dance Facilitator and Traditional Tantric practitioner. As a soundscape creatrix, she crafts multi-genre journeys which create intrigue, taking dancers through different movement expressions with sounds to tantilise all of the senses. A regular DJ within Somatic and Ecstatic dance spaces, she is skilled at curating soundscapes which transcend boundaries for people who want to move.
As a dance floor activator and container creator; she invites others into a fuller, more authentic expression of themselves. Her desire is to support and inspire you into deeper knowing of yourself as the radiant being you are.
