First timers and experienced are both guided in a peaceful, energizing breathing session. Follow Spirit of One for this monthly event.This breathwork is similar to Wim Hof breathing except it is a bit more gentle and we layer in music.
Typical benefits include feeling peaceful, reduction in stress, increased centered-ness and healing/release. Some people see visuals.
Please bring large towel to sit/lay in the grass, a cushion/pillow/chair to sit on (optional) and water (which you can leave in your car if you want). Please consider not wearing any strong perfumes.
We will begin with some simple training, then go through a ~30 minute breathwork session and wrap up with a time of sharing.
We'll meet at the corner of Lancaster Terrace and Memorial Park Dr (that's the corner of Memorial Park). Breathwork will take place on the grass near the river.
It is recommended (but not required) that you not eat a large meal after 5:30 pm that day to allow your stomach to be empty when we start the breathwork. Tea, coffee, fruit or a light snack around 7 pm would be fine.
