Full Day Refresher: Stainless Steel crowns (SSCs) for Dental Therapists

Aim:

To refresh and enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in the selection, preparation, placement, and finishing of stainless steel crowns to ensure high-quality, evidence-based paediatric restorative care.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the day participants will;
- Have a thorough understanding of the history of SSCs and the rational for when to use them
- Be able to confidently treatment plan for a SSC on a paediatric patient if working under Direct Access
- Be able to confidently choose the correct size and place SSCs on deciduous teeth
