Class Info: Learn simple, practical nutrition strategies to help new parents fuel their bodies during a busy and often exhausting stage of life. We’ll focus on balanced meals, easy meal prep ideas, and realistic ways to maintain energy, support recovery, and model healthy habits for their growing family. The goal is to make nutrition feel manageable, not overwhelming, during early parenthood.
Facilitator: Kierston is a Registered Dietitian, has over 10 years of personal training experience and holds two Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Dietetics. She is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who enjoys teaching her clients the value of progressive strength training and fueling their bodies for optimal function. Kierston works full time at her private practice Proactive Nutrition Consulting, based in Cheyenne, WY. She specializes in preventative health, sports nutrition, and weight management.
Successful Families classes are free to attend for anyone in the Fort Collins area whose youngest child is under 5 years old and childcare during the class is provided. Registration is required. Both moms and dads are welcome!
Because the class time falls during dinnertime, Successful Families classes serve dinner to make your evening just a little bit easier.
