Od svojeg osnutka 2015. godine do svojeg desetog izdanja u 2024. – Fubar festival okupio je stotine produkcija i više od tisuću umjetnika_ca, aktivista_kinja, kustosa_ica i teoretičara_ki. Tijekom 2025. Fubar je transformiran iz godišnjeg okupljanja u bijenalnu dinamiku, te iz primarno prisustvenog programa – u hibridnu trajnu platformu za našu glitch art zajednicu. U tom procesu, a insprirana i brojnim doprinosima i trajnom podrškom glitch art autora, oblikovana je i Fubar arhiva – interaktivni arhivski postav koji okuplja više od 1500 recentnih umjetničkih djela i omogućuje istraživanje čitavog desetljeća eksperimentalne digitalne umjetnosti iz cijeloga svijeta. Osim pregledavanja arhiviranih djela, Fubar arhiva omogućuje i izradu kustoskih kolekcija za istraživačke i/ili izložbene svrhe te perspektivu održive automacije arhivskog rada otvorenim protokolima i slobodnim softverom.
Fubar arhiva dio je Fubar festivala, najdugovječnijeg festivala umjetnosti s greškom, koji se u 2026. održava pod sloganom “Unstable art for unstable times”. Nakon deset godina kontinuiteta, jubilarnog desetog izdanja održanog 2024. godine te pripreme desetljetne arhive s tisućama digitalnih umjetnina tijekom 2025., Fubar festival ove godine ulazi u novu fazu i postaje bijenale varijabilne i glitch umjetnosti. Prvo Fubar bijenale tematski je usmjereno na kolektivizam; suradničke modele stvaranja, proizvodnju znanja i zajedničko oblikovanje dijeljenih prostora u vremenu društvene i tehnološke nestabilnosti.
Priključite nam se na prvom predstavljanju 10 godina međunarodne glitch umjetnosti iz bogate Fubar arhive (a ujedno i službenom otvaranju Fubar bijenala) u srijedu 1. travnja od 18h, u prostoru net kulturnog kluba MaMa, Preradovićeva 18, 10000 Zagreb. From its founding in 2015 to its tenth edition in 2024, the Fubar Festival has brought together hundreds of productions and more than a thousand artists, activists, curators and theorists. During 2025, Fubar has undergone a transformation from an annual gathering into a biennial format, and from primarily presential events into an hybrid, permanent platform for our glitch art community. In this process (also inspired by numerous contributions and the sustained support of many glitch art authors) the Fubar Archive is formed as an interactive archival exhibition that brings together more than 1,500 recent artworks and enables the exploration of an entire decade of experimental digital art from around the world. In addition to browsing these archived works, the Fubar Archive also allows the creation of curated collections for research and/or exhibition purposes, while also offering a perspective on sustainable automation of archival work through open protocols and free software.
The Fubar Archive is part of the Fubar Festival, one of the longest-running continuous glitch art programs, held in 2026 under the slogan “Unstable art for unstable times”. After ten years of events, a jubilee tenth edition in 2024, and the preparation of a decade-long archive with thousands of digital artworks during 2025, the Fubar Festival enters a new phase this year and becomes a biennial of variable and glitch art. The first Fubar Biennale is thematically focused on collectivism: collaborative models of creation, knowledge production, and the co-creation of shared spaces in a time of social and technological instability.
