It is with the greatest excitement that we announce that Fawkes Theatre Company is at long last rising from the ashes after a 5-year slumber, with our 2024 production of ‘The Real Inspector Hound’ by world renowned playwright Tom Stoppard! It will be a 100% student produced, performed and directed production featuring the very best talent the University of Tasmania has to offer. We think the best person to tell you all about it is our director Grady Lynch:The Real Inspector Hound is a larger-than-life comedic romp through the stately Muldoon Manor which houses not just it’s quirky, eccentric residents but a grander and far darker mystery… This production marks my directorial debut and honestly, the undertaking is equal parts exhilarating and daunting, but I’ve been working with our cast and crew for years as students of theatre and performance and knowing them, I know come December we’re gonna blow the roof off!
