About this Event
Kansas State Research and Extension and Kansas Farmers Union are offering the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower Training in Wichita, Kansas (in- person). The class will take place on August 20, 2025 from 8:30-5:00PM CT. We will not provide lunch but have a lunch break during the session. In order to receive a certificate of training, you will have to attend the entire training. If you are a covered farm under the FSMA Produce Safety Rule and need the training, this course will meet that requirement (for more information visit https://www.ksre.k-state.edu/foodsafety/produce/fsma/index.html). You will also learn more about improving the safety of your produce. You will be required to return a course evaluation before you will receive your certificate of training.
Register prior to the event using Eventbrite so we can plan accordingly. Tickets for Kansas growers are $50.00 and other states are $130.00.This cost helps cover the cost of materials required for the course. We need a minimum of 10 people registered by August 13, 2025 to hold the course.
