Originated from France, Frederic started learning piano at a very young age. After years spent at the conservatory, he discovered a passion for composition, which he developed by himself. His music will take you to an emotional journey through classical, African, oriental and Latin inspirations with melodies whispering stories to your ears and triggering your imagination.

GNISTA is a folk music quintet consisting of five young musicians from Denmark and Sweden. With an instrumentation of 3 violins, a trombone, and a guitar, the band creates a unique and refreshing sound around the old tones of Nordic folk music. Their repertoire includes both traditional and newly composed melodies, as well as elements of jazzy improvisations and swinging grooves. GNISTA is active in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany, and has performed at events such as the "FolkBaltica Festival" in Flensburg and "Koncertkirken" in Copenhagen. The band plays extensively with improvised and communicative interplay, which is expressed in their vibrant and adventurous arrangements.
