Want to learn how to make fruit cocktail trees by grafting many varieties onto one tree to get longer seasons & squeeze higher diversity into small gardens? Come to this workshop to learn the basics of fruit & flower grafting put on by the Hawai'i Tropical Fruit Growers as part of a series that includes propagation and pruning. Your instructor, Nat Bletter, aka Dr. Leaves, who has been grafting for 27 years, will cover proper tools for grafting a home or industrial sized orchard for good year-long fruit production, dwarfing, multiple varieties, & disease resistance.
