From the same directors of Eagle Ridge, Wade Mountain & Wild Thangs Trail Series, River Monster Trail Run, Cathedral Caverns Trail Run, Lost Falls, we are excited to host our newest event, the Frozen Goat! This race will be at beautiful Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville. This will also serve as a great last tune up 2 weeks before the Huntsville Track Club's famous Mountain Mist 50K which can be found here: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=106500

Registration
The race is capped at 300 runners.
All runners who sign up for the Frozen Goat 4M, 15K, & 30K will receive a shirt, finisher medal, as well as post race soup & drinks!
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Huntsville on Friday January 12th from 12-5pm. Fleet Feet is located at Carl T Jones Dr SE B2, Huntsville, AL 35802. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race from 6:30am - 7:45am but we encourage you to get there as early as possible!
Shirts, Awards, Weather & Cutoffs
The race shirt will be a very soft tri-blend shirt.
Age groups will be: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for ALL races.
In the event of severe weather we will delay the start as necessary to avoid lightening. If severe weather threatens the entire day and does not appear to let up, we may be forced to cancel.
Average Temperatures on race day: High 52F, Low 31F
There will be very loose cutoffs in the 4 Mile and 15K. Our goal is to get more and more people into this awesome sport that is trail running, no matter what your experience level is. However, if you are not able to maintain 17:30 minute miles for 18 miles, please consider doing the 4 Mile or 15K. The 30K hard cutoff time is 5 hours & 30 minutes.
There are no refunds, deferrals, credits or friend / family transfers on entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants unable to make the event as left over shirts are donated.

The best place to stay in the area is at Monte Sano State Park. They have beautiful cabins, RV campgrounds and more. Be sure to mention that you are traveling to the area to run the FROZEN GOAT!
