This race will be at beautiful Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville. Registration
The race is capped at 300 runners.
All runners who sign up for the Frozen Goat 4M, 15K, & 30K will receive a shirt, finisher medal, as well as post race soup & drinks!
Packet Pickup will be on Friday January 17th, 2025 at RunningLane from 12-5pm. RunningLane is located at 2407 Memorial Parkway SW, Suite 1, Huntsville AL 35801. There will also be race day packet pickup at Monte Sano State Park from 6:30-7:45am but we encourage you to get there as early as possible!
Shirts, Awards, Weather & Cutoffs
The race shirt will be a very soft tri-blend shirt.
Age groups will be: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for ALL races.
In the event of severe weather we will delay the start as necessary to avoid lightening. If severe weather threatens the entire day and does not appear to let up, we may be forced to cancel.
Average Temperatures on race day: High 52F, Low 31F
There will be very loose cutoffs in the 4 Mile and 15K. Our goal is to get more and more people into this awesome sport that is trail running, no matter what your experience level is. However, if you are not able to maintain 17:30 minute miles for 18 miles, please consider doing the 4 Mile or 15K. The 30K hard cutoff time is 5 hours & 30 minutes.
There are no refunds, deferrals, credits or friend / family transfers on entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants unable to make the event as left over shirts are donated.

The best place to stay in the area is at Monte Sano State Park. They have beautiful cabins, RV campgrounds and more. Be sure to mention that you are traveling to the area to run the FROZEN GOAT!
