Polaris rise to the throne as headliners, closing the festival with their world-class mix of heaviness and emotional firepower. They’re joined by a Max Cavalera double-stack: groove-metal titans Soulfly and the long-awaited Australian debut of industrial-thrash cult icons Nailbomb. From there the storm only builds — In Hearts Wake bring earth-shaking intensity, skate-punk lifers Lagwagon roll in at full throttle, and black metal legend Abbath - Doom Occulta returns with a frostbitten set of classic Immortal anthems.
The chaos continues with explosive performances from Ocean Sleeper, punk icons Frenzal Rhomb, and hometown heroes The Mark of Cain, before Comeback Kid unleash their 20th Anniversary Wake the Dead set. The technical ferocity of Canada’s Archspire, the raw energy of Snot, Orange County veterans Bleeding Through, and Belgium’s death-grind masters Aborted raise the bar even higher. Add in Briggs-led wrecking crew Big Noter, the hardcore swagger of US powerhouse Gridiron, the return of Aussie thrash pioneers Mortal Sin, and the unpredictable frenzy of Private Function, and you’ve got a festival built for chaos.
Terminal Sleep bring no gimmicks, no gloss — just pure, crushing destruction, tearing through with something to prove. Adelaide hardcore trailblazers Where’s the Pope will bring the explosive chaos that made them a cornerstone of the underground, while serpentine riff-lords Battlesnake deliver their theatrical fury.
Adelaide veterans Double Dragon reunite to mark 20 years of their groundbreaking Scars of Fire EP, and Brisbane’s next global crushers Diesect bring unrelenting brutality. Adding a sharp twist, Brisbane punks Flangipanis unleash riotous, tongue-in-cheek anthems, while breakout force Zuko crash in with raw, rising hardcore intensity.
Backing it all, Adelaide’s own local firepower — The Bearded Clams, Bone Reaper, I Choose Violence, Rocky’s Pride & Joy, Broken Loose, and Control the Sun — locking in Froth & Fury Fest 2026 as the loudest summer ritual Adelaide deserves.
