About this Event
The Food Safety Frontline Training aims to provide frontline employees, food processors, and extension officers with the knowledge and skills to safely manufacture food products.
The training covers key concepts surrounding employee hygiene and handling practices, cross contamination, allergen control, documentation practices, and food defense geared towards the job responsibilities of production, sanitation, maintenance, and machine operators. The 4-hour training will include engaging and hands-on activities to allow participants to apply their knowledge.
Participants will also receive supporting training materials, certificate of completion, and a light lunch will be included. While training will be taught in English, we will have the training materials available in both English and Spanish.
Discount codes are available for companies sending three or more (3+) employees to a training event. Discount codes are also available for Extension, NC State and NC A&T employees. Please contact Kate Nicholas at [email protected] for your code!
