From Today to Tomorrow: InformBIO Shaping Ireland’s Bioeconomy
About this Event
Be part of the Inform INFORMBIO Final Conference, where we will share key project achievements, outputs and their implications for the future of Ireland's bioeconomy. InformBio is a DAFM-funded project involving MTU, Teagasc, University of Galway, and the Central Statistics Office (CSO) that develops an integrated, data‑driven framework to map, model, and monitor Ireland’s bioeconomy and provide a foresight roadmap toward a sustainable, circular national bioeconomy.
The Final Conference will launch InformBio's Foresight Study which has evaluated pathways for the bioeconomy to contribute to Ireland's low carbon economy, along with a National Bioeconomy Monitoring Framework designed to measure progress towards Ireland's bioeconomy objectives.
The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, community organisations, and other key stakeholders to share insights from the project's findings and hear from guest policy speakers at a pivotal moment for Ireland's bioeconomy.
