Bernstein’s lively dances from On the Town capture the energy of 1940s New York. Chris Brubeck’s Rhythms of the Range (Texas premiere) blends jazz and Americana to evoke the spirit of the American West. The season concludes with Dvořák’s beloved “New World” Symphony, inspired by spirituals and frontier landscapes, featuring its unforgettable Largo and an exhilarating finale.
