From the Ground Up begins with a lying-down sequence (from the SATYA method). After opening the fascia, we transition to mindful vinyasa and standing poses which culminate in a ‘peak pose’. Expect release of physical and mental tension, physical challenge, and greater knowledge of the “how to” of our peak pose.
Our sequence closes with a return to the ground for rest in restorative yoga accompanied by singing from the harmonium. This practice, also nicknamed “SATYAsana”, is a synthesis of the Prajna Yoga method taught by Tias and Surya Little.
