Hosted by the Adelaide Drug Discovery Incubator (ADDI) in collaboration with AUScelerate and Brandon Capital, From Target to Market brings together leading experts in drug discovery science, translational strategy and life sciences investment for a full day of practical, industry-informed learning.
What to expect
The day is structured around the key decisions and challenges every researcher faces when moving a therapeutic project along the pipeline:
- How to select a drug target — what makes a target viable, tractable and commercially relevant
- How to prosecute a drug target — designing and advancing a program from hit identification to candidate selection
- How to partner a drug discovery program — what industry and investors look for, and how to position your research for collaboration and co-investment
- Real-world case studies — hear directly from researchers and practitioners who have navigated the translational journey
- Panel discussion — an open conversation with experts across drug discovery, commercialisation and investment
