“From Swing to Rock ’n’ Roll”Ένα μουσικό ταξίδι στις δεκαετίες που καθόρισαν την πορεία της σύγχρονης μουσικής.
Από το swing στο rock ’n’ roll, ένα οδοιπορικό από τα αμερικάνικα juke joints & τα ballrooms της εποχής στα clubs και τις συναυλιακές αρένες με πρωταγωνιστές τους Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry κ.α
Το μουσικό αυτό ταξίδι ακολουθεί την πορεία της μουσικής από το κομψό swing των 30s & 40s μέχρι την εκρηκτική ενέργεια του rock ’n’ roll στα 50s 60s μέχρι & τα 70s. Μέσα από τραγούδια που σημάδεψαν τις επόμενες δεκαετίες, ζωντανεύει μια εποχή όπου ο ρυθμός, το groove και η σκηνική ενέργεια διαμόρφωσαν έναν νέο μουσικό κόσμο.Η μετάβαση από το swing στο rock 'n' roll είναι μια από τις πιο συναρπαστικές διαδρομές στην ιστορία της μουσικής, καθώς ενώνει την κομψότητα των μεγάλων ορχηστρών με την ωμή ενέργεια του δρόμο
Oi Benny Goodman, Duke Ellighton , Ruth Brown μέχρι τους Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson & τους θρυλικούς Elvis Presley & Jerry Lee Lewis θα ζωντανέψουν στη σκηνή του THEATHE OF THE NO για μια βραδιά γεμάτη νοσταλγία.
Οι Vanila Swing έχοντας διανύσει μια 15ετή πορεία με αμέτρητες συναυλίες σε όλη την Ελλάδα, την Παρασκευή 15 Μαΐου εμφανίζονται σε έναν χώρο που αποτελεί σημείο αναφοράς για τη jazz σκηνή της Αθήνας και φιλοξενεί καλλιτέχνες από όλο τον κόσμο, παρουσιάζοντας μια βραδιά γεμάτη ρυθμό,ενέργεια, νοσταλγία , θυμίζοντας μας τη δύναμη που κρύβει η μουσική .

From swing to rock ’n’ roll, a music journey from the American juke joints & ballrooms of the era to the clubs and concert arenas starring Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry etc.
This music journey follows the course of music from the elegant swing of the 30s & 40s to the explosive energy of rock ’n’ roll in the 50s 60s & 70s.
Through songs that marked the following decades, an era comes to life where rhythm, groove and stage energy that shaped a new musical world. The transition from swing to rock 'n' roll is one of the most exciting journeys in music history, as it unites the elegance of large orchestras with the raw energy of the street.
From Benny Goodman, Duke Ellighton, Ruth Brown to Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson & the legendary Elvis Presley & Jerry Lee Lewis will come to life on the THEATHE OF THE NO stage for an evening full of nostalgia.
Vanila Swing, having completed a 15-year career with countless concerts throughout Greece, on Friday, May 15th, will be performing in a venue that is a reference point for the jazz scene in Athens and hosts artists from all over the world, presenting an evening full of rhythm, energy, nostalgia, reminding us of the power that music holds.
