This focused, participatory four-part workshop will help us produce a clear, shared draft of our vision and mission, plus guiding questions to anchor the upcoming Search Process and the year ahead. The four-part workshop series will take place at First Congregational Church on Lomas and Girard starting Friday August 14th.

Friday Afternoon: Train the Trainers

Note: This session is for the Board, Transition Team, Vision & Mission Task Force, and Ministerial Search Committee.
Friday Evening: Our Story, Our Future
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Note: Start time for this session has been changed to 6pm, and no meal will be served.
The congregation engages in a highly interactive, story-rich process to surface what matters most: moments of meaning, sources of pride, persistent tensions, and emerging hopes. Patterns are named and captured in real time.
Saturday Morning: Who Are We Now, and Where Are We Headed
9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Building directly on Friday’s insights, the congregation works together to translate themes into direction, including:
Our mission
Our vision
Our statement of identity
We will also work together to create a set of guiding questions to focus discernment in the year ahead.
Saturday Afternoon: Mapping the Year
1:30-4:30 pm
The Task Force refines the morning’s work, while leadership collaborates in real time to map the year ahead, identifying priorities, sequencing decisions, and clarifying roles.
