FROM ST. PETERSBURG TO VIENNA

Operatic and concert baritone Ilya Silchukou appears with opera companies and concert halls across Europe and beyond. On Saturday, December 7 at 5 PM, he will make a rare U.S. recital appearance at Flagg Road United Church of Christ located at 134 Flagg Road in West Hartford. He will be accompanied by prominent pianist Pavel Netsessian. The concert features vocal cycle "A Farewell to St. Petersburg" by M. Glinka and selected songs by F. Schubert. Netsessian will also perform solo piano works that pair expressively with the vocal compositions. General admission tickets are $40.
