From Silicon to Systems: Building a Taiwan–US Partnership under Pax Silica

Pax Silica represents an emerging effort to build a secure, innovative, and resilient AI ecosystem among trusted partners. Although Taiwan is indispensable to the global semiconductor supply chain, its potential contribution extends well beyond advanced chip manufacturing. This presentation examines how Taiwan and the United States can develop a broader partnership spanning R&D, supply-chain security, talent, and emerging applications of physical AI. Against this backdrop, the presentation assesses Taiwan’s strategic value to Pax Silica and proposes a practical Taiwan–U.S. cooperation agenda. Such cooperation could establish Taiwan as an indispensable partner in the development and deployment of trusted physical AI systems.
