An open day dance workshop of the 5Rhythms, exploring the Shadows map (see below). We will use dance and other embodiment resources to find our way through and out of the places in our lives where we get stuck and under-resourced. This workshop is open to experienced dancers as well as those new to the 5Rhythms.There is an open evening on Saturday 13 from 6:30pm-9pm where you can drop in for a taster before deciding to commit to the full day
The shadows map is:
Flowing shadow is Inertia (overwhelm/collapse)
Staccato shadow is Rigidity/tension (perfectionism)
Chaos shadow is Confusion/Out of Control (analysis paralysis/stuck in my head)
Lyrical shadow is distraction/checking out/being ungrounded
Stillness shadow is Numbness
