During this class, you will learn how to successfully start vegetable and flower seeds indoors using a simple, effective setup that works well in our northern climate. You’ll discover when to start different crops, how to choose the right soil and containers, and how to manage light, warmth, and moisture to grow sturdy, healthy seedlings. We’ll walk step-by-step through the process so you understand not just what to do, but why it works.You will get hands-on experience sowing seeds, setting up trays, and using grow mats and full-spectrum lights to create ideal growing conditions. By the end of class, you’ll feel confident caring for your seedlings at home and troubleshooting common beginner challenges.
All materials are provided, and you will take home your grow mat, seed trays, and grow light so you can continue growing right away. No prior experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn.
