Join us for an exciting event where each of the participants will bring a 20 second short film to life from a script in just 8 hours with the help of AI, intersecting creativity and technology. This event is perfect for any artists wanting to learn AI tools to help produce their stories. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity! 8-Hour AI Filmmaking Workshop Breakdown

Introduction and Overview (30 min)

• Goal for the Day: Explain the objective—creating a short movie using AI tools, from script to final film.

• Workshop Breakdown: Briefly outline each stage of the process.

Scriptwriting and Storyboarding (1 hr)

• Demo (15 min): Showcase AI tools to help writers create scripts and storyboards.

• Q&A (10 min): Address questions before participants begin.

Generating Stills and Scenes

Finding a Style (1 hr)

• Demo (15 min): Demonstrate how to define a visual style using AI tools, with examples of different approaches.

• Q&A (10 min): Discuss customizing styles for specific themes.

• Activity (35 min): Exploration and defintion of the style for their project.

Producing Stills (1 hr)

• Demo (15 min): Show how to generate high-quality still images for backgrounds, characters, and key visual elements.

• Q&A (10 min): Answer questions on creating consistent visuals.

• Activity (35 min): Producing the still images needed for their scenes.

Controlling Animations and Scenes (1 hr)

• Demo (15 min): Demonstrate using AI tools to animate stills by controlling motion like zooming and panning.

• Q&A (10 min): Clarify techniques for managing motion and scene composition.

• Activity (35 min): Animation of the scenes and finalizing the visual compositions.

Lunch Break: 30 min

Rough Editing (45 min)

• Demo (10 min): Demonstrate assembling visuals and performing a rough cut using AI tools.

• Q&A (10 min): Address common editing challenges.

• Activity (25 min): Assembling and refining their rough cuts.

Adding Sound and Audio (1.5 hrs)

• Demo (15 min): Show how to add sound design, background music, and voiceovers using AI.

• Q&A (10 min): Discuss how to sync audio with visuals.

• Activity (1 hr 5 min): Integration of audio into the film.

Break: 10 min

Finalizing the Film (1 hr)

• Talk (5 min): Briefly discuss final touches, such as reviewing edits and ensuring smooth audio-visual alignment.

• Activity (55 min): Finalizing the movies and exporting it.

Screening and Wrap-Up (30 min)

• Showcase completed short films.

• General group discussion on their experience and creative process.
