About this Event

About this workshop

How can you bring out the full character of a tea?

Join Wild Orchard for a guided tasting workshop exploring tea from Jeju Island — from the way it is grown to the way it is prepared and enjoyed.

We’ll explore how Jeju’s natural environment and regenerative farming shape the tea, and how choices such as water temperature, brewing time and preparation can bring out different flavours in the cup.

Together, we’ll taste traditionally brewed teas as well as Green Matcha and Black Matcha, discovering different expressions of the same tea plant.

We’ll also introduce “Eating the Tea” — enjoying the infused leaves themselves and experiencing another dimension of the whole leaf.

A hands-on workshop about growing, brewing, tasting and eating tea — from roots to cup.
