This presentation is in collaboration with and complementary to Norwegian artist Anne T-J Møller’s artist-in-residency and exhibit:
From Sept. 3-12, artist Anne T-J Møller will showcase her weaving in the exhibit “This is Norway” on the fourth floor of McIntyre Library. Møller will reside in Eau Claire during the run of the exhibit and will speak at a reception in the library at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4. She also will also be available for drop-in hours from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 5 and 11.
Møller’s works include friezes — two long panels with 10 works each, depicting decades of Norwegian history and marking the function of the Norwegian constitution over the span of 200 years.
The exhibit and events are co-sponsored by Sons of Norway - Løven Lodge, Midwest Institute of Scandinavian Culture, Waldemar Ager Association and Museum, and McIntyre Library.
All events and exhibit viewing are free and open to the public.
