A postcard project celebrating the neighbourhood through local eyes.
In 2025 Northbridge Common sent 25 disposable film cameras into the community, inviting people to take five photographs before leaving the camera for the next person. What came back was a snapshot of life in Northbridge and surrounds, a portrait of a neighbourhood from diverse points of view.
Guests and community members can collect a pre-paid postcard from participating Northbridge stores, featuring photographs taken by locals using disposable cameras. Pick a postcard, pop into a store, and send a little piece of Northbridge to someone special.
Free family event
Join us on Saturday 11 April from 1 - 3pm at Northbridge Piazza for a vibrant afternoon celebrating the launch of our postcard project From Northbridge, With Love.
Enjoy a fun-filled program of free mini golf, face painting, and live music, and pick your favourite design on display to discover the participating store where you can pick up a pre-paid postcard featuring one of the photographs.
Can’t make the launch? No problem. The experience continues throughout the week, giving you plenty of time to get involved.
Simply visit the Piazza anytime before 5pm on Sunday 19 April, find the photographs on display, and follow the trail to participating stores. There, you can collect your free pre-paid postcard and send it anywhere in Australia.
Whether you join us for the launch or drop by later, it’s your chance to explore Northbridge, support local businesses, and share a message with friends or family.
