Scotland’s Veterans Wellbeing Alliance is delighted to invite you to this interactive workshop with Dr Junaid Syed.
Leaving military service does not mean starting again—it means translating what you already know into a new language.
Drawing on his own journey from the Air Force into academia, multinational industry, global leadership and entrepreneurship, Dr Junaid Syed explores the strengths veterans already possess—discipline, accountability, resilience, leadership, problem-solving and delivery under pressure—and where they need to adapt for commercial success.
Through practical examples and interactive exercises, the workshop explores how to translate military experience into commercial value, understand customers and markets, build networks, communicate achievements and create a personal transition plan.
