(Ian Marks - Bone Folders - has a collection of factoids including (mostly terrible) songs released by footballers, "a brief history of Tom Wills", "the ultimate alternative footy quiz", "a brief history of the university football club". Plus footy themed songs.
Liz and Sarah - some footy songs - or maybe just revisiting "Jump" (Warwick Capper = David Lee Roth).

Proposed event: Informal but informative retro AFL quiz with history and music, Thursday September 26th
Hi there -
For the Thursday before the Grand Final public holiday (September 26th) Fossey's asked us if we'd like to run anything. We propose an event with the inimitable Ian Marks from Bone Folders, covering the fun and interesting things on the Venn diagram of AFL, history, and music.
Ian knows a lot about a lot of things - check out his YouTube channel including the history of guitar distortion and feedback - but he noticeably knows a lot about (and has enthusiasm you could run a battery off) AFL history and AFL-adjacent factoids. Mix this with football related songs, and, presto: a Thursday night event.
Liz and Sarah will add quiz help, and some football-related music. TBC which songs, maybe Warwick Capper's "I only take what's mine", or perhaps "Jump" because Warwick Capper = David Lee Roth.
Free entry, but please let us know if it sounds interesting! It's not our normal format and it's short notice, but Ian's content sounds ace and we are keen to give it a try
