🧠 September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in the United States, and this experience is designed to break silence, reduce stigma, and foster connection through story and conversation.

This is more than a memoir. Silence Split Open is a bridge to meaningful dialogue about mental health, trauma, race, masculinity, and healing. The book includes a built-in discussion guide to spark personal reflection and collective conversation—making it a resource for book clubs, peer groups, classrooms, counseling settings, and more.

💬 About the Book:

Silence Split Open explores:

  • Navigating identity as a biracial Black man
  • Living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
  • Breaking generational silence
  • Reclaiming healing through vulnerability, community, and faith
