About this Event
February is Black History Month, and this year, reflecting on history feels especially urgent in todayโs climate.
Join us for an educational journey showcasing how anti-blackness has permeated all aspects of American society throughout our history. We will explore how anti-Black sentiment & white supremacist ideology provided the foundations and justifications for the creation of systems of oppression and disparity that continue to profoundly affect communities today.
This event is FREE to the public, though donations are always welcome. We hope to see you!
This session will be led by Roger Moreano, Senior Director of Institutional and Community Equity.
