Five Tartan Army whiskies. Five distinctive releases. One brilliant night celebrating Scotland and the Boston - Glasgow connection in the room where the letter of intent was signed!
On Friday, October 2, The Haven welcomes Lauren Canning from Glasgow’s MacGregor and MacDuff—the King of Kilts and master kiltmakers since 1979—for a special evening of whisky, tartan and Scottish storytelling.
At the heart of the evening will be a guided tasting of five Tartan Army-related World Cup whisky releases, featuring The Haven’s very own Dailuaine release from Kilwhang Independent Bottlers.
Each dram will be accompanied by some unmistakably Scottish fare: haggis croquettes followed by a deep-fried Mars bar.
Lauren will share the story of MacGregor and MacDuff, the craftsmanship and tradition behind Scotland’s national dress, and answer your questions in a Q&A hosted by The Haven’s owner, Jason Waddleton.
