From Garden to Vase

Our workshop begins with a stroll amoungst the summer flower beds where you'll gain tips and tricks to nuturing and harvesting summer blooms from your garden. Then we have a 5 minute stroll, or drive, to the charming Little Ouseburn Village Hall where you will find buckets of freshly cut flowers prepped and ready for you to enjoy. It can feel like walking into a sweetshop with all the colours and scents filling the room. We start with a demonstration using a range of vases all of which are free if floral foam. Then its time to dive into the buckets and enjoy creating your own designs and arrangements to take home. Please feel free to bring a favourite vase or two, if you would like to fill them with your designs.
