About this Event

Currently one in fifteen nurses living in Scotland were educated internationally, and since the launch of the NHS in 1948, health and social care workers from overseas have played a pivotal role.

Come and celebrate their achievements and hear from some of the health and social care workers who have come from across the world to work in the NHS, social care and education.

Plus hear from Wendy Irwin, RCN Head of Equity and Inclusion, exploring current RCN work supporting international members and valuing overseas experience.
