About this Event
In today’s mining environment, project success depends on more than isolated test results—it requires the ability to capture, connect, and apply data seamlessly across the entire project life cycle. From discovery-stage geology and mine planning, through mineralogy, analytical testing, flowsheet development, piloting, engineering criteria, and early operational readiness, an integrated data pathway is now a strategic imperative for de-risking capital decisions and driving long-term project value.
This technical session will demonstrate how geology, analytical, metallurgy, engineering, and consulting insights must work together to form a continuous, decision-ready data chain. Hosted by Stephen Mackie and James Brown, presenters including Marc-Antoine Laporte, Ryan Monteith and Tyler Crary will highlight how our interconnected approach—from early sample selection to process design and project definition—enables faster data delivery, stronger interpretation, and clearer technical guidance for feasibility and development studies. The session will showcase how testwork, modelling, and advisory insights can be aligned to reduce uncertainty, improve design accuracy, and unlock sustainable outcomes.
Through real project examples—including precious, critical and base metals, attendees will see how our experts apply geological, metallurgical, and engineering data to shape flowsheet selection, validate engineering assumptions, accelerate timelines, de-risk and support investment confidence. A spotlight segment will preview emerging digital tools and dashboard-driven insights, offering a glimpse into how advanced analytics and AI will transform project comparables and technical forecasting in the years ahead. With our evolving consulting capabilities and the power of integrated data, this session will explain not just what data is generated, but why it matters—and how it directly drives sustainable, value-oriented project success from discovery through to development.
