With a program made up of so many genres different of classical music, we felt that this year’s theme, From Darkness to Light, is the perfect representation of OCCSO's 2024 music selection. From Dvorak’s moody, and at times stormy 8th Symphony that audiences will hear in the first half of the concert, to Gershwin’s swooping, crunchy melodies that bring us to life with his iconic jazz-filled Rhapsody in Blue, we arrive at the levity that music can give to our souls with Abreu’s Tico Tico, a rhythmic race that is sure to get your feet tapping.
Doors open at 7:00pm. There will be an interval of 20 minutes. Tickets for this performance will go quickly! Make sure to purchase yours in advance as it is likely to sell out.
